Position Overview:
- We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams in delivering modern enterprise applications.
- The ideal consultant will have experience supporting financial services or legal organizations, with a strong understanding of enterprise software development using the Microsoft technology stack.
- This role will partner closely with Product Owners, Application Architects, Developers, and business leaders to gather requirements, define user stories, support API integrations, and identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve business processes.
- Experience working with React-based applications, .NET solutions, and enterprise APIs is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize AI-assisted productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity to accelerate requirements gathering, documentation, user story creation, and process analysis while validating all AI-generated output for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify opportunities to implement AI-driven automation and agentic workflows that improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Partner with business and technical teams to define requirements for AI-enabled applications, intelligent automation, and enterprise workflow solutions.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation using Microsoft Power Automate and other enterprise workflow technologies.
- Support AI governance initiatives by ensuring proposed AI solutions align with security, compliance, privacy, and responsible AI policies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Application Architects and Development teams building applications using React and the Microsoft technology stack.
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Participate in solution design discussions involving APIs, integrations, databases, and AI-enabled functionality.
- Assist in defining API requirements and integration specifications with internal and third-party systems.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system integration testing, and production deployments.
- Create workflow diagrams, business process maps, data flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and project status updates.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise software development projects.
- Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or equivalent) to produce: Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Flows, Meeting Summaries, Functional Specifications.
- Experience applying prompt engineering techniques to generate accurate business documentation while validating AI-generated content against business requirements.
- Strong understanding of AI limitations, including hallucination detection, human validation, and responsible use of AI-generated content.
- Experience working with REST APIs and understanding system integrations.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and business analysis.
- Experience working within financial services, banking, investment management, insurance, or legal organizations.
- Experience supporting Agile and Scrum software development teams.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software development lifecycles.
- Experience working with development teams utilizing: React, .NET / .NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, REST APIs.
- Ability to understand technical architecture and communicate effectively with software engineers.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Technical Knowledge:

- Database Knowledge: Microsoft SQL Server, Relational Databases, SQL Queries, Data Modeling, Data Mapping, Database Design concepts
- Artificial Intelligence: Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity AI, Prompt Engineering, AI-Assisted Requirements Gathering, AI-Assisted Documentation, AI-Assisted User Story Generation, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Workflow Analysis, AI-Assisted Process Mapping, Human Validation of AI Output, Responsible AI Practices, AI Governance, AI Explainability, Human-in-the-Loop Validation
- Data & Analytics: Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Queries, Data Mapping, Data Modeling, Data Validation, Power BI (preferred), Tableau (preferred), Dashboard Interpretation, KPI Analysis, Data Visualization, Understanding of AI model limitations, bias, and data quality.
- Automation & Workflow: Microsoft Power Automate, Workflow Automation, Business Process Automation, Intelligent Document Processing, API-driven Workflow Integration, Automation Opportunity Assessment, Agentic AI Workflow Design (preferred)
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting enterprise application development using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Experience working on customer-facing React applications.
- Experience supporting API integration initiatives.
- Experience using Microsoft Power Automate or similar workflow automation platforms.
- Familiarity with n8n, Zapier, or Make for business process automation.
- Experience leveraging AI to improve business analysis deliverables and software development processes.
- Experience interpreting business intelligence dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience working within highly regulated financial services or legal environments.
- Experience supporting cloud-based application development using Microsoft Azure.
- Certifications:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
