Position Overview:
- Provide extraordinary leadership through delivering outstanding results and setting clear strategic direction to your operational area to conduct the business.
- Spending significant time engaging, motivating, and encouraging your team to deliver extraordinary performance (50-60% time spent in the operations).
- Effectively lead through change and foster an environment of continuous improvement, partnering with the site's Manufacturing Excellence Manager to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Embed a strong Tier 1, fostering into Tier 2, leading and motivating the shift team to take accountability in all aspects of the balanced scorecard, warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and morale.
- Lead & advocate the Continuous Improvement Program to develop performance, standards, capabilities, warehouse processes, and asset care to exceed balanced scorecard targets. Set & achieve departmental deployment plan.
- Build an environment that supports an inclusive and positive culture where people feel listened to, valued, and developed.
- Mentor the team by providing guidance and support to all immediate reports and their teams to facilitate achievement of department targets and successful delivery of continuous improvement projects.
- Embed an atmosphere that focuses on safety, quality control, inventory integrity, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the effective flow, storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
- Own important targets across shifts, leaning on T1 and T2 to handle and drive performance, ensuring safety is the number one priority.
- Continuously aim for the next level of performance and ensure all team members do the same through productive team meetings, ITF attendance, and performance reviews.
- Handle the risk profile within your department and work with the governance team to address issues.
- Contribute to setting the annual AOP and deliver it, collaborating with the Bottling & Warehouse Manager and planning functions to deliver daily, weekly, and monthly plans.
- Communicate effectively with distributors, customers, and carriers to schedule shipments and deliveries.
- Ensure Purchase Orders and Front of House orders are built accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of packaging materials, raw materials, and finished goods, ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with inventory control procedures.
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle count activities.
- Lead inventory management processes, including cycle counts, stock reconciliations, inventory audits, and root cause investigations for inventory variances.
- Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Manage all data entry, bottling logs, warehouse transactions, inventory adjustments, and consumption reports.
- Uphold proper documentation and record keeping for inbound and outbound shipments, inventory movements, and warehouse compliance requirements.
- Drive warehouse organization through 5S and visual management principles to maximize space utilization, efficiency, and safety.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, on-time shipment performance, productivity, safety incidents, and transportation costs.
- Coordinate material flow between production, packaging, warehouse, and distribution functions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Interpret requirements such as Asset Care, 5S, and deploy resources to make them happen.
- Ownership of asset condition in your area, including warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and racking systems, working with the Engineering Centre to deliver the Asset Care plan.
- People Management activities including 1:1s, performance and development management, absence management, ER case management, training, recruitment, succession planning, employee onboarding, and certification compliance.
- Develop team morale, recognize extraordinary performance, and take timely action to address underperformance where required.
- Conduct Permit Writing and Control of Contractors, working as a team with the Site Management Coordinator, where required.
- RAMs approval.
- Responsible for budget performance within your Business Unit cost code, including warehousing, labor, and material handling expenses.
- Sign off on management checks.
- Problem Solving for Performance:
- Ensure accurate application of RCPS through role modeling and leadership.
- Raise 5 Why's as defined by agreed trigger points and lead situational problem solving on shift.
- React immediately to operational issues as they are exposed.
- Own accident reports, inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, warehouse incidents, and non-conforming product investigations.
- Responsible for accurately recording and closing incidents.
- Analyze warehouse and packaging performance metrics to identify trends, implement corrective actions, and improve operational efficiency.
- Engage with Daily Operational Review meetings to discuss persistent performance and service issues.
- Leading Change for Continuous Improvement:
- MOC process embedded and followed.
- Handle and establish team capability.
- Influence support functions to support their improvement initiatives.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, material flow optimization, storage utilization, and transportation efficiency.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, Warehouse Excellence, and 5S initiatives to reduce waste and improve service levels.
Required Qualifications:
- Natural leader with a proven record of leading high-performing teams in manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, or distribution environments.
- Confirmed experience in production, warehouse, or distribution management is essential.
- Experience managing inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, and material handling processes preferred.
- Prior experience with SAP, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), or other ERP systems is desired.
- Ability to handle people performance, mentoring, and development of a multi-disciplined team.
- Proactive structured problem evaluation and solving skills learned through exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Manufacturing Excellence, or Warehouse Excellence programs.
- Basic financial awareness and understanding of labor productivity, inventory carrying costs, budgeting processes, and business drivers.
- Strong understanding of inventory control practices, warehouse safety requirements, and logistics operations.
- Has a consistent record of adherence to Core Processes and Standards.
- Demonstrates role model behavior and coaches others to follow a consistent approach and go beyond minimum requirements.
- Travel involved – Will be travelling between Waco, TX and Bellmead, TX and there will be mileage reimbursement when travelled for work
- Education – Associates degree required
- Experience – 2 years of minimum experience
