Position Overview:
  • Looking for a self-motivated, highly creative problem solver to make information more consumable for Client audiences by using design (e.g., conceptual graphics and data visualizations, layouts, and illustrations) to convey Client's expert guidance and tools that enable faster, smarter decisions and stronger performance on an organization's most critical priorities.
  • As an Associate Graphic Design, will work closely with internal stakeholders and other designers across the in-house design team to deliver impactful and timely products and expertly apply brand and design principles to create effective content visuals that meet strategic company goals.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and should provide strong PowerPoint presentation examples in their portfolio, as most of our design work is completed in PPT.
  • Should also have experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects on various timelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Review stakeholder-created content, following a checklist to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Produce high-quality, client-ready graphics, data visualizations, and layouts for projects of lower to moderate complexity.
  • Consistently apply Client's brand and visual design principles to all content.
  • Create intuitively consumable visuals with minimal manager support, with an expectation of growing complexity over time.
  • Partner consultatively with internal stakeholders and peers.
  • Clearly communicate design rationale and brand principles.
  • Seek and provide feedback to continuously improve design solutions.
  • Organize and prioritize assigned projects effectively.
  • Utilize specified tools (e.g., CPP, ClickUp) to track timelines and communicate project expectations.
  • Proactively inform your manager of project progress and escalate potential roadblocks or scope changes.
  • Related duties as assigned.

Skills:
  • Portfolio demonstrating excellent design sense and experience with visualizing content into appealing layouts, data visualizations, and conceptual graphics; portfolio must include presentations created in PPT.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written skills, including communicating presentations to internal and external professionals at all levels.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multitask across multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
  • Comfortable designing in a team environment but also working independently.
  • Experience with reading, understanding, and developing visualizations from complex data.
  • Experience with visual and digital storytelling, presentations, and user-centered design.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.
  • Bachelor's degree in a graphic design or closely related discipline.
  • 1-3 years (post-college) experience in a graphic design role, preferred.
  • Languages: English - Read, Write, Speak
