Position Overview:
  • Seeking an IT Support Technician to provide onsite technical support for end users across multiple educational environments.
  • This position bridges traditional Level 1 desktop support with entry-level systems administration responsibilities.
  • The ideal consultant will be comfortable with device deployment, imaging, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and performing basic administrative tasks within Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.

Responsibilities:
  • Unbox, configure, image, and deploy desktops, laptops, tablets, and other end-user devices.
  • Perform hardware installations, replacements, upgrades, and peripheral setup.
  • Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, printers, and common software issues.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users.
  • Create, modify, and disable user accounts within Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
  • Assist with password resets, account permissions, and basic user administration.
  • Support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Group Policy-related tasks as assigned.
  • Install software, apply updates, and maintain endpoint security standards.
  • Document support requests, resolutions, and inventory using the organization's ticketing system.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory and equipment records.
  • Escalate more complex infrastructure or networking issues to senior technical staff.
  • Follow established IT policies, procedures, and security best practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in an IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support role.
  • Experience imaging and deploying Windows devices.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 / 11 operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), including user account management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Windows 10 / 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Active Directory, Microsoft Intune (preferred), Imaging and Deployment Tools, Desktop and Laptop Hardware, Printers and Peripheral Support, Basic Networking Concepts, Ticketing Systems

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience supporting K-12 or educational environments.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint management tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or other device management platforms.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications .
