Role: ServiceNow Developer

Main purpose of the Role and Responsibilities

As the ServiceNow developer your main responsibility is to implement solutions in the system.
 
Responsibilities:

• Performs configuration/customization of the ServiceNow System, including workflows
• Builds service Request fulfillment workflow from customer requirements including request and tasks using workflows, UI actions, client scripts, business rules and others.
• Uses scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to automate task.
• Performs integration and process automations using orchestration, web services, soap calls, etc.
• Gathers specifications and requirements from business departments and delivers a product/release that meets the business needs. 
• Interprets functional requirements and develop technical specification documents.
• Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems as needed.
• Must analyze and understand user stories and procedures in order to perform system improvements and capabilities. Automate workflows, address scheduling automations and address limitations throughout development and delivery of ServiceNow Releases.
• Performs system integration and testing with sample and live data.

Qualifications and Experience (mandatory)

• College Degree in related technology field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.)
• Preferably 10 years of experience in ServiceNow Dev role. Minimum of 5 years
• Able to exhibit a progression of increasingly complex job responsibilities during the period.
• ServiceNow Certifications(CSA and Above)
• ITIL Foundations certification is a plus
• Knowledge about ServiceNow Latest Versions
• Experience in SDLC, TFS, Jira or Python

Skills & Competencies

• Authentication protocols such as AD, LDAP, Azure
• Disciplined Agile Delivery Software Release build/deploy process
• Integrating with internal and external applications and systems
• JavaScript, Html, Python, angular JS or web design practices
• Service Portal implementation experience
• Implementation experience in any of the following HR, GRC, SecOps, CSM, PPM, APM, ITOM, ITAM
• Implementation experience in performance analytics
• Knowledge of digital technology like Machine learning, AI, IOT, blockchain
