Role: Software Engineer – LEVEL II
Task/Responsibilities

• Test and support best-in-class real time rating implementations leveraging a diverse set of tools
• Work with strategic partners to solve business problems by developing testing solutions
• Configure automated testing workflows on cloud infrastructure
• Create and maintain robust testing CI/CD pipelines to evaluate stability and performance for rating engine and API deployment
• Validate database integrity in conjunction with API development
• Work with development team to improve implementation and testing practices
• Provide the appropriate level of documentation of sources and technical solutions
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements
• Build strong partnerships with peers across the organization to support implementation-related goals
• Explore new technologies with curiosity and creativity

• The ideal candidate has 3+ years of software engineering in test (SDET) experience working with Python, SQL, and web application frameworks such as Django
• Demonstrated experience testing and maintaining production REST APIs
• Knowledge of HTTP/S protocol, including requests, responses, and status codes
• Ability to apply common data structures and algorithms
• SQL proficiency, especially T-SQL
• Excellent critical thinking skills to tackle complex engineering challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working across teams
• Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented
• Exceptional collaboration and relationship building skills
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
• Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and refining ambiguous requirements
