Progress on your journey to success! ECLARO is currently recruiting for a Senior Data Center Engineer in the Orlando, FL area for one of our clients.

Responsibilities:
- With heavy touch and active in the environment.
- Contribute to the design, buildout, and expansion of enterprise data center environments, including power, cooling, networking, storage, and compute infrastructure.
- Understanding of rack PDU's, new installations, upgrades, firmware upgrades, IP'ing.
- Working knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software. Asset management, power management.
- Contribute to the deployment, installation, and configuration of servers, storage arrays, network hardware, and supporting infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of data center capacity planning across power, space, and cooling to ensure long-term scalability and reliability.
- Awareness of hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, vendor coordination, RMA processing, and end-of-life transitions.
- Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis efforts for complex infrastructure or hardware failures.
- Understanding of data center standards, operational procedures, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and physical security systems.
- Contribute to structured cabling design, installation, labeling, and documentation for copper, fiber, and MTP / MPO systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams - network, cloud, security, operations—to support hybrid and multi-site architectures.
- Working knowledge of vendor relationships, service contracts, and on-site support activities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level data center engineers and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and internal security policies.
Pay Rate: $49 - $50 / Hour
