Responsibilities:
- Manage the comprehensive purchase order process for overall project spending for the Global Design Experience team (approximately $20M+ annually for 25+ team members in Global Design Experience) as well supplementary support for cross border needs, and Division Design teams.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to confirm costs, provide budget details, and identify discrepancies in billing, or project trackers.
- Collaborate with Design Managers, Finance, Administrators and Design Operations as needed.
- Perform reconciliation and variance analysis between financial systems like PPM and SAP to ensure data accuracy and identify anomalies.
- Oversee and manage charge backs, accruals and contribute to financial reporting for accurate financial statements.
- Manage and communicate budget details, updates, and burn rate information with design managers, contributing to strategic budget management.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across disparate systems, including validating, cross-referencing, and correcting data in shared trackers, PPM, and Ariba.
- Generate and distribute critical reports (e.g., quarterly PPM reports, weekly Subsidiary Action Reports, etc.) to finance and design team management, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
- Manage vendor spending limits and seek special approvals for high-value purchase orders.
- Conduct large-scale compliance and risk management tasks related to the supplier base, such as quarterly process reviews and policy guidance.
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial operations, procurement, or a related field with significant exposure to complex system management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in financial and enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP and Ariba.
- Demonstrated ability to perform advanced technical troubleshooting and resolve complex system and data integrity issues.
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience in financial analysis, budget management, and reconciliation across disparate data sources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear advisory guidance and training to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage complex vendor relationships and ensure compliance.
- Laser-sharp project management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and acting as an informal operational hub.
- Ability to work autonomously in a global context and contribute to a collaborative and innovative environment.
Pay Rate: $28.57 - $35.71 / Hour
