Position Overview:
- Cell Core is responsible for supplying cellular products to support internal organizations.
- Team communications and support occur within and between varied company levels and internal organizations.
- This role will be responsible for in-lab fulfillment of requests across the cell therapy franchise.
- The role will therefore require a high degree of approachability and interpersonal savvy, with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Effective organizational skills will also be necessary as the consultant will be responsible for varied technical work, process execution, and organizing large quantities of data.
- The consultant will additionally assist in manufacturing engineered T-cell products and intermediates in support of Technical Development, Process Development, Analytical Development, and Process Characterization efforts.
- The position will require process execution, documentation, data analysis, drafting of technical reports, and presentation of results.
- Strong attention to detail and flexibility to work.
Responsibilities:
- Lab-based role responsible for assisting in generating T-cell products and intermediates.
- Management of freezer inventory and oversight of material allocation to stakeholders.
- Experience with aseptic technique while working in the biological safety cabinet.
- Effective problem solving and ability to adapt to change on the fly.
Qualifications:
- A.A. (Lab Technician) or BS (Assistant Scientist) in Biology, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering or relevant scientific discipline with 0-2 years of industry bioprocess experience.
- Excellent aseptic technique, strongly preferred.
- Buffer and media preparation, cell banking experience, preferred.
- Excellent record keeping and documentation skills.
- Experience with managing large inventory systems, strongly preferred.
- Proficient use of MS Office products.
- Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to rapid changes, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong prioritization skills.
Pay Rate: $34.54 - $36.61 / Hour
