About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with deep expertise in building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using React and AWS serverless technologies. This role focuses on delivering customer-facing portals, internal tools, and API-driven services that integrate with a variety of data platforms. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks, cloud-native development, and data interoperability across structured and unstructured sources. Experience with AI tools and automation frameworks is a strong plus.

This position is part of our global delivery team and will collaborate closely with onshore architects, product managers, and engineering leads.

Key Responsibilities
Execution

•    Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React for frontend and AWS Lambda-compatible languages (e.g., Python, Node.js) for backend
•    Build and enhance customer portals, internal tools, and API services with secure, scalable architecture
•    Integrate applications with diverse data services including DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Redshift, and external APIs
•    Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Cognito, OAuth 2.0, and JWT
•    Leverage AI tools and services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenAI APIs) to enhance user experience and streamline development
•    Ensure code quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices
•    Troubleshoot and resolve performance, integration, and security issues across platforms

Continuous Improvement
•    Recommend and adopt AWS-native tools (e.g., CloudFormation, CodePipeline, CloudWatch) to improve delivery speed and reliability
•    Stay current with advancements in cloud and AI technologies, driving innovation within the team
•    Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
•    Promote best practices in observability, documentation, and modular architecture

Collaboration & Communication
•    Work closely with onshore teams to clarify requirements and align technical solutions with business goals
•    Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and milestones
•    Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
•    Represent development in cross-functional planning and vendor discussions

Qualifications
Education & Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
•    5–8 years of full-stack development experience, with strong emphasis on React and AWS serverless
•    Proven experience delivering secure, scalable applications in distributed environments
•    Experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services is a plus

Skills & Competencies
•    Proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
•    Backend development experience using Python or Node.js in AWS Lambda
•    Strong understanding of AWS services: API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cognito, S3, RDS, EventBridge
•    Experience integrating with diverse data sources and third-party APIs
•    Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and automation tools
•    Knowledge of CI/CD tools (CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, CDK)
•    Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
