Position Overview:
- The IT Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects by assisting project managers and teams with administrative, logistical, and communication tasks.
- This role helps ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget by tracking progress, managing documentation, and facilitating effective collaboration among stakeholders.
Pay Rate: $39.76-$41.23/Hour.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information to support project objectives.
- Track project progress and prepare regular status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, schedules, risk logs, and change requests.
- Communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are clearly understood.
- Help identify and resolve project issues and risks, escalating as needed to project managers.
- Support the onboarding of new project team members and coordinate training as required.
- Assist with procurement processes, vendor management, and invoice tracking as needed.
- Ensure all project activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMP) are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in an IT or technology environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
