Position Overview:
- The IT Service Management CMDB Analyst, under the supervision of the IT Service Manager and following ITIL best practices, will be involved in all aspects of service management for MCIT.
- Seeking a dynamic and experienced CMDB Analyst to join the Service Management team.
- The CMDB Analyst is crucial in ensuring the data quality of all Medical Center IT Configuration Items (CIs).
- This role involves effective communication across teams and promoting ITIL best practices.
- The position requires a strong understanding of ITIL processes, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure, 24 / 7 operational environments.
- The ideal consultant will have hands-on experience with CMDB.
- Reporting directly to the Senior Director, this role is an integral part of our Service Management group.
Responsibilities:
- Manage CMDB: Maintain the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Data Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the integrity of CMDB data.
- Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to maintain CMDB processes.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and analyze CMDB data to support business decisions and improve IT service management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance CMDB functionality.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes for CMDB.
- Experience with ISM tool.
- Experience with process design and process improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Proficient in using relevant technical tools and software.
- Experience with hands-on implementation of ITIL best practices is desired. ITIL v4 Foundations certification is required.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to work collaboratively and create a positive team environment with a proven ability to manage priorities and work on a variety of projects.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
