Position Overview:
  • Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Technical Services to lead the team responsible for the backbone of the healthcare IT environment.
  • This critical role oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of our desktop services, compute, and storage infrastructure.
  • Will also directly support the mission to evolve into a high-performing Healthcare IT team that empowers the clinical care teams, enhances patient care, and streamlines operations using advanced, secure, and efficient technology.
  • Will lead a team of technical professionals, ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific IT policies and procedures, and driving the stability and efficiency of the systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Healthcare Infrastructure Management: Develop, implement, and maintain the hospital's desktop and server infrastructure in accordance with IT and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • System Architecture: Oversee the design and architecture of our corporate infrastructure, ensuring it meets the unique demands of a hospital environment.
  • Technical Team Leadership: Manage, guide, and evaluate a team of desktop support engineers and server administrators.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Partner with medical and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of IT systems with clinical workflows.
  • Technical Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address technical challenges that could impact patient care or hospital operations.
  • Healthcare IT Projects: Lead and contribute to IT projects related to infrastructure upgrades, new system implementations, and the adoption of technologies that enhance patient care.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading within Healthcare IT is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding the integration requirements and the criticality of these systems is key.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of technical professionals, including desktop support engineers and server administrators. This involves task delegation, performance monitoring, and providing guidance.
  • Involvement in the recruitment and onboarding process for new staff.
  • Ability to identify and address potential technical challenges that could impact hospital operations, requiring a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • NOC Experience is a plus.

Pay Rate: $95 - $100 / Hour
