Day in the life of a Data Analyst:
Who you are:
You bring 3+ years of data engineering experience doing data analysis and dashboarding/reporting on large scale data systems.
You have a proven track record of going deep to get to the root cause of issues.
You possess strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
You are experienced in conducting code reviews, working with Git, and performing peer review of data analysis.
You have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving issues in data pipelines and systems.
You take ownership and accountability of the quality of your analysis, reports, and dashboards.
You keep the customer top of mind in everything you do. You understand the importance of supporting data solutions that meet business needs and provide actionable insights for our customers.
You have strong attention to detail and quality. You take pride in the quality of your work.
You are an effective communicator and can collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand data requirements, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in e-commerce
Experience writing ETL jobs to prepare data for dashboards and reports
Automating data analysis for common situations
Must Have Technical Skills
- Expertise in using Python and SQL for data analysis and visualization
- Experience with data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift
- Experience with a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Snowflake)
- Experience working with Data Lakes (AWS Athena)
- Experience with a BI Tool (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc)
Nice to Have Technical Skills
- Experience with Metabase or PowerBI
- Experience with Spark
- Experience with AWS EMR
