Position Overview:
- The Data Center Site Support Specialist is the lead operations role for our Elk Grove IT facility.
- Have responsibilities to adhere to on-site safety protocols, physical security, systems availability, and execution efficiency for all on-site projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate with the DR site team that is deploying, maintaining, and de-commissioning network and server equipment at the facility in a safe, secure, and cost-effective manner and can dive deep into any given function as needed.
Pay Rate: $60.00 - $63.00/Hour
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the smooth execution of day-to-day site operations.
- Provide IT support to staff and clients by responding to server malfunctions and network related issues.
- Support remote teams during time-sensitive server and network device deployments (rack, stack, cable).
- Install, upgrade or replace internal system components, including memory, hard drives, and network cables.
- Assists with shipping, receiving, and distribution of data center equipment and hardware.
- Adhere to data center site documentation, change management and operational workflows.
- Utilize IRIS ticketing system to track and manage trouble tickets and scheduled maintenance events.

Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience working in IT data centers, NOC or 24x7x365 mission critical facilities.
- Experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center server and network equipment.
- Exceptional ability to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve technical issues urgently.
- Excellent communication skills.
