Responsibilities:
- Employee Onboarding Support:
- Backup to HR Specialist - Able to input new hires into GHR and manage all aspects of the employee onboarding process including:
- License Verification
- Background Checks
- Fingerprinting
- IDPH Registry
- I9's - Lawlogix
- Badging
- Backup to HR Specialist - Able to input new hires into GHR and manage all aspects of the employee onboarding process including:
- Learning Management System (Tuitio):
- Administration and monitoring of annual and ongoing education within the LMS platform
- Manage attendance recording
- Troubleshoot system issues
- Guide and assist hospital educators with the system
- CPR, ACLS, PALS:
- Liaison with the Client Training Center
- Manage class scheduling in LMS
- Assist staff, educators and leadership with questions and process issues
- Tuition Reimbursement/Enhancement Funds:
- Review and provide initial HR approvals
- Assist staff as needed with applications and questions
- Monitor the system for any outstanding issues and work to resolve
- Offboarding - manage the process of sending exit documents to terminated employees
- Unemployment:
- Respond to unemployment claims within the required timeframe
- Assist with coordination of interviews when needed
- Contractor Support:
- Contractor badge requests
- LMS access
- Evaluate and coordinate student shadows and internships
- Employee Experience:
- Promise Program - Assist in maintaining the Promise Program platform
- Engagement Survey - Assist with survey administration and follow-up
- Performance Management - Assist with maintenance of the database and development of annual evaluation process in current eAppraisal system
- Support New Employee Orientation coordination and facilitation as needed
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/Hour
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field required
- Minimum of two years prior Human Resources experience required
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Proficiency in Windows based computer systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking and sound judgement in customer interactions and problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage programs or projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with E-Verify and I9 reverification
- Proficient I9 documentation knowledge preferred
- Experience working in Infor/Lawson
- Excellent time management skills
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00); Job Duration: 96 weeks (with possibility of contract-to-hire)
